'Mint" to be!

Here's a quick and easy way to appreciate a teacher!   (Especially if any of them have bad breath) They are cool enough for my twin boys to quietly share with some of their favorite middle school teachers without looking like teacher's pets!

Tips when making:

  • scoring cardstock with a bone makes all the difference
  • using a xyron sticker maker makes this much easier
  • make a page of the sentiment on Word and save for next year
  • use a small strip of repositionable adhesive to make the cover lay flat
  • I placed them in small jewelry bags to send with my boys to school so they would still look cute when they gave them to their teachers :)
I am also going to make a It was 'mint' to be card for a friend who just got a dream job offer.

You GROW girl!

I was so excited to hear about a couple of chicks in my life being pregnant so I could use this stylish pregnant girl stamp!  I also got the chance to use my latest FREE favorite font called 'wish you were taller' and I used my Cricut for the inside phrase " Love and joy to you."

40 doesn't really suck...

Even though I have loved being forty, here is a quick and easy gift idea for a guy's 40th birthday.  This one is for my friend Tiger. Thanks Pinterest Peeps for always having great ideas!

I heart my Cricut

I have been super busy trying to figure out my Cricut machine all summer. I couldn't wait to use the crab on the Create a Critter cartridge. Here is a quick card for my nephew:

Cricut Tip: For really small pieces (like the red layers of the castle)just run a small piece of light card stock through a Xyron before you cut them.

I am not usually a fan of googley eyes, but I think they look great on this little guy!

Check out my craftiness...

I have decided to stop pinning on Pinterest and start making instead!  Check out my mad skills... (wink)
